Solid-Top Cases--Small (5" L to 11" L)

Display and protect handguns, machinists tools, artifacts, collectibles or other items. Each case is constructed using 1/4" solid hardwood top and walls (walnut, oak or cherry) and finished with a clear satin lacquer. Grain is selected and matched for a pleasing look, with a decorative bead on the lid. Each case comes with two 1/2" felt-covered foam pads (one in the bottom and one in the lid of the case).  A standard gun compresses snugly into the foam pads and will not slide around. Added compression is obtained by inserting cardboard panels underneath the bottom pad.

If you wish to silhouette an item, it may be cut into the bottom foam pad, and the felt wrapped over the foam loosely, providing a custom fit.

Cases 10" and longer have two latches. Cases under 10" use one latch. All hardware is a brass finish. Latches secure the lid tightly and the hinges are mounted externally with screws (not cleat type hinges that work loose). Felt is a heavy weight, washable material.
